Reverse Osmosis is a proven technology typically using thin film composite (TFC) membranes that remove up to 99% of all dissolved ions and most organic compounds such as pyrogens, bacteria and viruses. When an RO unit is used in conjunction with a DI System, the number of DI tank exchanges is reduced dramatically—therefore becoming a very economical advantage.

When deciding between using a DI water system only or a RO/DI water system, remember this key number: 3000 gallons per month. If your high purity water usage exceeds this number, it will be more economical for you to utilize a reverse osmosis and deionization system.

Neu-Ion, Inc. can supply anywhere from a 1 GPM to 100 GPM Reverse Osmosis (and/or Deionization) System for all markets, satisfying your water quality requirements.

All of our ion exchange resins are of the highest quality (Rohm & Haas nuclear grade) and are regenerated in our own Baltimore Plant.

Our unique regeneration process distinguishes us from our competition and provides the highest level of quality assurance for every tank that leaves our facility.

Neu-Ion, Inc. service technicians have the ability to install a variety of different types of piping loops for your high purity water system. Often your water quality requirements will determine which design, brand, and type of piping loop you must install. We have the knowledge and the experience to work together with you to design the proper loop and materials required for your high purity water system.

It is almost a guarantee that over time, Biofilm will form in high purity water systems and distribution loops. These contaminants shed microorganisms, which contribute to particulate, bacteria, and total organic carbon levels.

Therefore, it is very important to sanitize and disinfect your high purity water systems and piping loops on a REGULAR BASIS!

When sanitizing/disinfecting a customer’s high purity water system we use Minncare® Cold Sterilant which is manufactured by Minntech Corporation a world leader in the Sterilant and Disinfectant industry. Minncare® Cold Sterilant is a peracetic acid solution that provides a 6 log reduction of bacteria and does not produce toxic aldehyde vapors; it is easily disposable and is biodegradable.
